Hello Everyone!

Gosh it has been a long time since I have updated. Not sure anyone comes

here anymore. I still have dial up so, I still have a slow computer. I'm so

sorry that I don't get the chance to visit each of you like I used to do.

Things are settling down here. I have been taking care of my daddy since

Mom passes away. He decided to move into the VA home here. Tomorrow will

be a week. He seems to like it there alot. He has people to talk to and

play games with. He says the food is great! I have been 3 times to visit.

They take him to his doctors visits now. That frees me up some. I also

have my 3 grand kids for the summer. They keep me busy as well as my dogs.

I'm ready for another cruise. I'm working on it too!

A Vacation! Boy do I need it!

Hello to all! I hope you all are doing good. I'm doing really good now. I'm

Just getting fat! I'm going on vacation and I'm gonna get fatter. Ha Ha!

I will go on diet when I get back. I'm going on my first Cruise. My sister

and I. I'm starting to get excited about it now. 10 Days till departure.

As the Cajun's say IIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE lol We will be on ship most

of the time. We will spend Saturday in Couzmel, Mexico. I will be there

so I don't have to know how to spell it. lol We are leaving from Galveston,Tx.

We are leaving a day early so that leave lots of room for getting lost . Ha ha!

I'm sorry That I can't blog as much as I used to do. One day when I ever get

dsl or cable I can be on more. I spend most of my time cleaning, cooking and taking

care or my dogs and my daddy. If it is not me going to Dr. It is him. He seems

to be doing better now. Both of us. We are remembering the good times and crying

less. I have had several litters of new pups to take care of. I finally sold all of

Misty's. I have 3 now from Mindy, they are 3 weeks old now. I think these are going

to be tiny. They are small now.

I had company for the weekend. Yes, The BB gang. lol Breaux Bridge. There son

is 16 and in that really bad stage. He wanted us to have a bad weekend.

That did not happen so on there way back home he decided to jump out of the

car while it was going 70 mph down I-49. He got many scratches and not one broken

bone and all insides are in tack. Not a scrath on his head. Boy it was not your time to

go! I'm gratefull he is ok. Of couse now he is stuck in hopsital in nut ward a few days.

Please pray that he will learn somthing from all of this.

I will try to put up some vacation pictures when I get back from my vacation. Till

Hello Everyone! Gosh it has been a long time since I updated.

I sure have missed everyone. MSN has changed again. Probably 2 or 3 times. lol What have I been doing?

It seems I stay busy. The board walk has been having free movies 3 days a week for the summer. I have been taking 2 of my grandsons there on Thursdays. Consider the pictrues on top my vacation we had this year. We went back to same place. lol We went last week for 3 days. The weather truned out nice for us. It has been raining here for almost 2 months. Lots of flooding going on. Not at my house so all is good here.

We bought us a camper! Now we need a truck to pull it with. Yes, I bought the cart before the horse. lol It was just a good deal. It is one of the campers made for FEMA. From Katrina. I pray that there is not another big hurricane since they are getting rid of all the campers. I got one that is in pretty good shape. Some have not been lived in much at all. It has a full fridge. Microwave and oven. One day I will take some pic's and maybe put it on here if I have time....lol Daddy still keeps me pretty busy.

My daughter in law had surgery so I have been helping her with the boys as much as I can. It seems I never have enough time to do a lot. Daddy and hubby are full time jobs and I can only use my computer at night as not to tie up MY PHONE line......lol

I am planning a cruise in Septermber. My sister and I are going to Cuzmel. If that is spelled right. 5 days 4 nights. Sept. 27th to Oct. 1 I think. Well, it is already paid for so I best go! lol I'm excited about it. I need to get away. Daddy had a spell with heat and I got him over that. He is so energetic. His battery does not run down. lol He is 82, don't go out in the heat and not drink. lol It would kill him if he couldn't be doing something all the time. Even it he breaking stuff he keeps busy. No body can do stuff like him.....lol OH did I mention I live with the two smartest men on earth? lol Just ask em they will tell ya.

Our garden is about gone now. whewwwwwwww lol It rained so much we almost lost a lot. We did get some good corn and peas. Lots of tomatoes and cucumbers. Which are almost gone now. I will miss them. Nothing like fresh tomatoes and cucumbers. The rain did in the water mellons. They rotted on the vines. Did I mentiong it been raining for like 2 months here..........lol

Well, it is late and I need some sleep. I'm so happy I got to update. I will try to visit as soon as I can.

Hello Everyone! I hope you have all been doing well. Mags (April) I have tried to leave you

a comment 2 times and my computer freezes up. So, I'm going to say Happy Birthday to you

here. Happy Birthday to you and your mother's memory. I know it was hard for you. I love you

mags.

I have been helping out my sister in law this week by being an aid on her special ED bus. It is

a good job. I just don't like to get up at 5 a.m. I'm not a morning person anymore. I will help her out one my week in May and i'm done. I like being retired and as much as I love the children

it is a hard job and when one decides to run, I can't catch him or pick them up off the ground and

they deserve someone who can.

Daddy's garden is coming along in spite of the hot, cold, storms we have been having.

It keeps him busy. That is a good thing. He can not be lazy, he has to be doing something.

We have our good days and our bad, but all in all everything is good. It does no good to complain any way.

My middle grandson had his 6th birthday on Wed. the same as Mags. Rufus and I got him, (well, me) hee hee a little 4 wheeler. It is green camo color. He loved it. I think the midde

child deserves something good sometimes too.

I hope my computer will stop freezing on me when I try to make comments. Thanks to you all that come and leave me comments. It is wonderful to hear from you. I love you all!

I hope everyone has a Great Easter! I also hope everyone is doing good. It is busy here all the time. Daddy thinks I need to work

all the time. I tried to tell him I'm retired. He don't listen. lol We have had some rain and a few tornado's. But I am safe for now.

It is supposed to rain tomorrow and Saturday. I hope there wrong.

I'm no longer a home owner. I got my house sold and everything I own is packed in boxes out in the shop. Guess a big garage sale is due. I don't miss my old house that much. The new owner is fixing it up really nice. Now I want it back! lol I didn't even put it on the market. He came to me made offer and I took it. I was rich for a few hours but on the happy side i'm dept free almost. I still have the main util. and stuff like that but all them credit cards with killer interest rates are gone and closed out. I'm only keeping one. I have to order my dogs pills from pet meds. lol I might need to reserve a hotel room too. I did not pay off the car either. I put some aside for my dream vacation. Hopefully one day that will be Hawaii. My sister and I are going on a cruise to Cozmel in Sept. also. I have money saved for that too. I got me a diamond ring lol It was not expensive. daddy blew up his tractor tiller motor, so I got him a new motor. Them are not cheap. I got my middle grand son one of those cute little camo 4 wheelers for his birthday. Daddy tiller motor and the 4 wheeler were more than my ring . lol oh well. Now I can start saving some for spending money on trips. lol

Rufus loves his new job and hopefully the new insurance will kick in on April 1st. As I had a filling fall out tonight. I just pray it don't start hurting before then.

We did get to go down south for the first time since Mom passed. I had crawfish and they were so GOOD!!

daddy has been working so hard in his little garden. lol He said he was just going to do a small one and now he has 7 big ones going. Lots of good veggies this summer if he don't kill them all first. lol It is never a dull moment around here. I went and got some potting soil to try and

repot some plants we got from mom's funeral and I got me some roses to plant. I had to leave my old ones. Now to keep daddy and rufus from cutting them down with lawn mower. lol

I'm doing much better, there is still not a day I don't miss and cry some for my Mother. But I know she is happy in heaven, and will share Easter with the lord this year.

Well, that is about it for now. I want to thank everyone that still comes and leaves me comments and thanks for not forgetting about me. I can only get online at night becasue Daddy says no tying up the phone line lol

I hope Everyone had a great weekend. I went to my Aunt and Uncle 50th

wedding anniversary party. It was really nice. They got tons of gifts. I

wonder where they will put them. Hee Hee! They deserve them all. I think

that is this day and time that is a mile stone for sure. I saw people I had

not seen in a long time. It was hard on me to be there with out my mother.

I was sad and cried some. She should have been there. I managed to put a smile

on and be pleasant as I could. The food was very good. They had a chocklate

fountian. You know how much I love chocklate. lol The weather was nice and sunny

but the wind was nice and cold.

I have been looking at wall paper to see if I can make the kitchen look different.

I want to add new stuff here for a new look. It has been the same for so long.

It is time for a make over. Where is that guy from the TV? He needs to come

see me. Or home make over. lol

I'm really happy I have my computer up now. Not much room in here but it is

up...lol I can't find my paper for the printer. I guess it is locked up in the

shop outside with every thing else I own......lol I hope to get some stuff in

as soon as I'm finished with the kitchen and it warms up out side. I'm sure

that will be Spring. That is not to far off now.

I hope all you lover's out there have a wonderful Valentines Day! Yesterday was Rufus

Birthday! He turned 41! He is now official over the HILL! ha ha! I took him and daddy out

to eat at Wilson's Catfish Inn on Sunday night and then Last night I cooked us all a nice

T-bone steak. Compliments of Glenn an Cindy! Thank you! It turned out good too!

Surprised me. It turning cold again. Poor New Orleans got hit by a bad tornado today.

They have not finished cleaning up from Katrina and now this. Moment of prayer for them

please.

I cleaned house today. I'm not gonna be able to walk tomorrow. this a big house.

My stuff is all out of my other house now and stored in the shop outside and some boxes in

here. It is killing daddy but I'm not unpacking any of it till it is warm outside. lol I'm going

Thursday too look for new wallpaper for the kitchen. Before I hang stuff I want it to be fresh.

I have got most of Moms dishes out and mine in. Not all! That part is coming along. lol

I have lots to tell but not a lot of time so I will save some for later. hugs to all!

I hope you all have a great weekend. Today was Hubby's last day as

a cat man.. lol He starts a new job on Monday! I hope he likes it. I think

he will. I went to town to take care of some bussiness and did some shopping.

I got me a new pair of jeans. I spent the rest of my gift card I got from Christmas

Today the weather was so nice. Sunshine and 62 degrees. but rain is said for tomorrow

I was so hoping to finish getting what is left in the old house out. I want to get it done

and close. We took daddy and went to eat at a little cafe here. They have the best

hamburgers! I bet they have a pound of meat in each one. I can't eat a whole one and

I have to cut it into to be able to eat it.......lol have a great weekend!

Hugs to all!

I want to thank everyone for being so patient with me. I'm still not totally

moved in here. Well, Most of my stuff in packed up in boxes in the shop and

lots in here. It is a cluster of stuff. I have got my house sold. We have not

closed on it yet. I have a little more stuff to get out. I took a loss on it but

I sold it as is. That way I don't have to put more money into it and fight with

hubby to fix it as he works and don't have the time. He will start a new job on

Monday and tonight he (who doesn't drink) just got home from work drunk!

So, I'm not really a happy camper tonight. I'm a lazy bitch who is supposed

to have done all this work myself. Poor daddy is not used to the cahos. lol

I also want to say that I'm really proud of the Saints for going as far as they

did this season. I am hearing so many good things about them from people

down south. disappoined? Not in the least! All the players do so much for New

Orleans and most are not even from down there. they do so much that people

don't even know about.

I'm doing ok and things are getting better. Just be better when I get all my

bills paid off. I love each and everyone of you that come here and leave me

encouraging comments. they mean so much to me. Have a great

Hugsssssss to all! I have missed everyone SO much! I want to thank everyone for

continuing to come visit me. And thanks for all the wonderful gifts. I'm doing better.

Getting somewhat settled in. I still have not moved everything. I can't move much

alone and Rufus works and it gets dark so early now. I cooked Thanksgiving dinner here

and it was a hard day. We are going to do Christmas Eve at my sisters this year.

We need to do something different. I still cry a lot and miss my Mom so much!

I have put up my Christmas tree and done all my shopping and all the gifts are

wrapped and under tree. I didn't do a lot this year as money is short. I got my husband,

my grandkids, my daddy and for all the little children. Christmas is the joy of watching

the kids. It is to me!!

I am still on this lap top. I pray this will enter...lol I hope to get my home computer

here soon. I need it and my printer. Well, I WANT IT!! lol I love and miss all of you and

I'm going to try to get around to making some comments soon. Thanks for being so patient

with me. But i'm living at home again.......lol Daddy won't let me online in the day. haa haa

But true. Even if I'm paying the phone bill. lol I have been trying to spend quality time

with dad as all this is even harder on him than me and It is one the hardest things I have faced

so far.

Happy Halloween

Hugssssssssssssss to everyone!! Now, I'm just praying that this will publish. hee hee haa booooooooooo!

I want to say Thank you all so much for being patient with me and all the comments that you left me. It has and still

is a very difficult time for me. I'm not moving to fast. My computer is not here yet, I'm on Rufus laptop. It is not

real good but better than nothing. Cleaning out two houses and try to take care of two men now. I feel like a maid.

Do maids get paid? lol Daddy has good and bad days as so do I. I miss my mom, my best friend so much. It is

hard to live here and I feel like I have to now fill her shoes, which is something I can never do. There is/was no one

like my Mom. I'm just now able to maybe talk about it with out to many tears. She had a beautiful funeral. It was

held in our church and it holds 400 people and there were some standing outside. That is how much she was loved.

Ok, that is about as far as I can get for now.

I left rufus home this weekend, as he had a cold. He stayed with dad and I went with my sister to Jefferson, Tx.

for a Boo Run. It is a bike rally. It raises money for children that have been burned badly. It just keeps getting

bigger each year, and the town is a small Historical town with many shops and stuff the see and do. We went on

a steam engine train ride. Ghost ride!! The weather was still not to ccold. Just a lil chill in the air. I totally

enjoyed it. I did get scared once..........lol He caught me by surpirse. Then I made sure I was aware of any

thing that moved.....lol I am a big chicken. It was my first get away in a long time.

I have missed you all so much. I'm still having problems with MSN and some have told me they still can't get

here either. But some are getting here. :-) I love you all and I'm bless to have such great friends as you.

Rosemary had called and asked me to put a new blog up for everyone to read. Rosemary under the circumstances i would gladly do it for you, not only because you are a great frind but i also know what you are going through.

O.K. to get to the reason why i am here tonight. Rosemary wants everyone to know that her mom had passed away this morning and she probably won't be online for a bit, or at least she should not be she needs to take care of things at home first.

Hugssssssss to all! Thank you all so much for the lovely comments and prayers. Mom had a good night last night.

I have been spending most nights and days there, so i'm not home alot. I promise when things get better I will be

BACK in full swing again. But only God knows when that will be. Some nights she is awake all night and Thank

God last night she slept pretty good. I only had to get up a few times. All the family is helping in some way. So, all

is good.

I have to tell you this funny story about the other night. It was around midnight and I was putting away my lap top.

I keep it under the cabinet with daddy's TV. There was an old fire alarm. I didn't think it was set. I have been putting

my laptop there with no problems. But that night (Friday Night) I hit that fire alarm just right and it went off. MAN IT WAS LOUD!!! It is and old time one made of heavy metal, not like the lil cheap plastic's ones made today. My first thaught was

WTF!!!! lol I checked it tried to put the lil cap back on it. Nothing. I stuck it under my shirt and ran. lol I ended up

in the middle of daddy's garden. Hoping I didn't wake up everyone. I"m glad daddy has alot of land. And the nighbors are not

too close. I banged and proded and it would not go off and it was DARK out there too.......lol I tried to find a hole to bury it in.

I tried pulling grass to stick on top of it. lol I left it there and ran back in the house to see if I woke anyone up. Daddy and Rufus were

still sound asleep but NOT MOM! I had given her some liquid valium and she was saying in a druggy voice. Wake up! Wake up!

I asked her if she had heard it and she said yes, we got to get out.....lol I told her it was an accident and she said "ok" and

closed her eyes again. I ran back to the door. Then dang thing was still ringing.......lol Finally after about 20 min. it stopped. Whew!

I was expecting the fire department at any min. lol The next morning I saw the creature laying by the back door. Daddy had already

found it. I said I see you found that? He is hard of hearing really bad. He said yes, I'm sure it the works of your damn grandsons. lol

I said no daddy it was the works of your damn daughter.....lol Then he fussed about my computer a few min. the walked away.

I will have to get the stupid thing reset now. lol

The day before we had more excitement. Bombs were blasting and the house shook and we could see smoke and fire in the air.

Again i'm like What the heck!! There is an old army amunition plant not far from Mom's house. Now, it is a prison and a boot camp for kids. The place is huge. Lots of land. They have bombs buried there also. There is an under ground railroad some where too, that runs to Barksdale Air force Base. But they had a building that is about a mile long itself. They were hired to disarm some old bombs. A fire got started and they all ran, but a few of the 750 bombs exploaded. There were also two 2000 pound bombs they

couldn't find. Thank god they didn't go off, We would all been dead. They had two trucks with 7 bombs each still on the truck to

be taken apart. Only two men got hurt and not bad, but about 800 people got evacuated for a day. My niece was one of them.

My brother lives that way too, but I haven't talked to him so I don't know if he had to leave or not. The cut off line for evacuaties

was just one mile from Mom's house. I was so glad we didn't have to leave. That would have been really hard for her, the way

she is now. Never a dull min. around here........lol But every thing is back to normal now. Till next time.

I hope everyone has a wonderful week. I have company coming next week for the holiday weekend. When will I have time to clean this house? But I have told my family I will not be avalilable unless for emergency till Monday. So, they can figure it out.

A Joke for you!

The coach had put together the perfect team for the New Orleans Saints.

The only thing missing was a good quarterback.

He had scouted all the colleges and even the Canadian and European Leagues, but he couldn't find a ringer who could ensure a Super Bowl victory.

Then, one night, while watching CNN, he saw a war-zone scene in Afghanistan.

In one corner of the background, he spotted a young Afghan Muslim soldier with a truly incredible arm.

The Afghani soldier threw a hand-grenade straight into a window from 80 yards away.

Then he threw another from 50 yards down a chimney, and then hit a passing car going 80 miles per hour.

I've got to get this guy!" coach said to himself. "He has the perfect arm!"

So, he brings the young Afghan to the States and teaches him the great game of football . . . and sure enough the Saints go on to win the Super Bowl.

The young Afghan is hailed as a hero of football, and when the coach asks him what he wants, all the young man wants to do is call his mother.

"Mom," he says into the phone, "I just won the Super Bowl!"

"I don't want to talk to you," the old Muslim woman says, â€œYou deserted us. You are not my son.â€

"Mother, I don't think you understand," pleads the son, "I've just won the greatest sporting event in the world!"

"No! Let me tell you," his mother retorts, "At this very moment there are gunshots all around us.

The neighborhood is a pile of rubble. Your two brothers were beaten within an inch of their lives last week, and I have to keep your sister in the house so she doesn't get raped!"

The old lady then pauses tearfully and says, "I will never forgive you for making us move to New Orleans!"

I have been on spaces for a year now! I know my archives don't say that. I lost my space the last time MSN made changes so I had to start all over. Over this year I have made some wonderful friends. Lost a few good ones too. I have gotten over all that and moved on. I hope to be her for a long time with all my friends. Unless MSN makes it to hard.

Hugssssssssssssssss to all! Thank you all so much for your prayers for mom. She is still getting worse every day. It is breaking

My heart. The family is having problems dealing with all this. I love my sister so much, but now we are not getting along.

I have to fix this and soon. I can't take being angry with her. The others I don't give a flying flip about. My mom is

my first concern. I don't care who comes to visit and help out. I will be there when I want to be and no one can stop me.

I think they are just jealous. People are going through her stuff and taking what the want. She is still alive and I don't care

for this behavior at all. Why does sadness turn to greed? It is such a shame. This is a time we should all come together.

I will just continue to do what I need to do. I'm trying to stay strong and I will till the end. I know I will come apart then.

But I got my little bottle of xannax to help me throught it. I have to be strong for daddy. He needs us all right now too.

So thank you all for being strong rocks for me and caring and the prayers. I will keep you all updated.

Hugsssssssss to all! I sure have missed everyone. Things are getting set up now

at Mom's. Hospice has come in. Thanks again for all your hugs and support. I'm really

tired and have so much to do. Hubby is back from HIS vacation. lol Now I have all his

laundry to do. He has been so sweet so I guess I will do it. He brought me a couple

shirts (one a small) I hurt his feelings asked who he bought that for....lol Surely not me.

But it is an awesome shirt. Not a t-shirt a nice one with a cool stugis logo on it. He got me

two cool leather pouches that hook to your jeans when riding. Of course they both have roses

on them. He knows I love roses.

I have spent 3 nights at moms and my house is a mess. My babies have missed me.

I don't think Misty ate the whole time we was gone. Even if I did come every day to feed them.

She likes us to be here so, she lost a little weight. She needed to lose a little she always hogs

from the others normaly......lol She is the top dog...lol

Hugssssssssss to all. Mom decided not to do radation. She wants to let God take over. I agree with her. I don't want her

to suffer any more than she has to. Hospice is going to come in tomorrow and see what they can do. I want to thank everyone

for all your prayers and support. You are just awesome friends.

I had a hard time getting to my space tonight. grrrrrrr lol But I finally made it.

Update on Mom

Hugssssss to everyone. I took mom to the doctor yesterday as she could not walk and could

only use her right hand some. We got the results of the last MRI and it isn't good. Her brain is swollen

because the cancer has returned. I'm taking her to her cancer doctor today and I guess we go from there.

Daddy said no more chemo, but I'm open to discussion. We will see what he has to say.

Thank you carol for the candle. I will try to put it on here when I have time and figure it out. Your a dear

friend.

I will keep you posted.

UPDATE ON MOM!

I took mom to her cancer doctor today. He said the same thing as the one yesterday. it is

in both sides of her brain now. Not much hope any more. He is going to do some more

radation to try to slow it down. It is growing fast now. She is taking it much better than me.

He did not give me a time frame. I guess only god knows. I'm just going to do what needs

to be done and make her comfortable. My poor daddy is worring so bad.He has been turning

on the dish washer a lot. lol bless his heart. What am I going to do with out her? She has

always been my rock. It is so hard for me. Please pray for her that she will not be in much

pain. she don't seem to have much now, just from the worn out disk in her back and neck.

Well, tears are coming now so I need to go.

Hugs to all! The weenend went to fast! Rufus is getting ready for his trip. He had more to do than I did. hee hee!

I took daddy to the dr. today. He is good to go! Praise the Lord, he don't have to go back for a year to this dr.

I'm still having lots of problems getting into spaces, even mine, so please all don't be hurt I have not been around. Every time I freeze up and have to restart my computer. It is getting old. But, if I work at it I do get to some.

Ok all! It is now Wed. and I'm just finishing up this entry. Man MSN has made me crazy......lol Some good points and some bad ones. I can get to my space now, but still slow. some say it is faster. I think it may be my AOL. Not sure.

I lost my lil girl yesterday! I was sad again. But I still have one lil fat guy left, so i'm happy for him. I guess he was the biggest and the strongest.

I took mom for her MRI and all went well. Not sure when we will get the results.

Hubby will be gone at 4 am. for his trip. I hope he will be safe and have fun. Even if he isn't taking me......lol If you want to see some of the fun check out this site.
